Hello,

I recently flashed my phone to CM7 version 2.3.2. It came with the 8GB SD Card. I would like to get a bigger card, maybe the 32GB...But,

What do I need to do, to make the new 32GB card work correctly?

Thanks in advance for any help,

BK

Nothing... put in your device and give it some time the first time you open something on it... it took mine a minute or two to read all my wallpapers, then when I opened my music it again took a few minutes, but I have a lot of music on my card... then the next time it read either it was as quick as my old 16G card.

Wait...not to be rude but that does not make sense. If I buy a brand new 32 gb sd card and just put it in my phone...how could it possible work...there are NO files on it.

Thanks

Wow... not to be rude, but what is the sense in not putting your data onto the card before you put it in your device... at least that is how I did it, just transfer everything from my existing on onto my new card, then install the new card... do you need instructions on how to do that... again, not trying to be rude.

If you're not trying to be rude then don't be.

It's not fair to assume that everyone has the same level of knowledge as everyone else.

A best practice is to give step by step instructions when someone asks for help with something.

I guess that goes both ways.... sorry if I assumed the OP would have loaded their new SD card with wallpaper and music, either before installing it in their device or after they installed it in their device... and then let their device work with their data... but of course the OP responded in a rude fashion by responding with a "not to be rude" comment.

Again, I did not want to be rude, but wanted to find out if they needed help with how to transfer their data. I thought I gave some very good advice... at least that is how it worked for me... after I put in my 32G class 10 card in my myTouch 4G a week or two ago. They do not NEED anything, but a little time to let their device read the files they load/loaded on their SD card... if they load 16G of music it will take time for their to read all that music, etc, etc, etc.
