Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I cant seem to find the answer. When I receive my phone, do have the phone "off" then charge the phone fully before activating or should i activate, then power off and charge fully before using it? I've heard your suppose to do something in order for the battery to be efficient. Any help would be appreciated, thanks ! :)

thats what I want to do. anyone else with input? do you drain it completely before charging or does it even really matter?

What I've always done is plug the phone in immediately, you can call and activate it while it's charging. Let it charge completely then disconnect and use until it shuts itself off due to low battery. Recharge completely, wash, rinse, and repeat 2-3 times. From what I understand this conditions the battery and should provide the best battery life scenario for you.

I'm sure someone else will chime in if this is incorrect, or there is a better way. This seems to work well for me and a few of my friends though...

Good luck! :)

Isn't this old NI-Cad battery tricks? Lithium Ion batteries don't need these things done to them I'm to understand? yes? no?
