Question with ViperOne

So I'm trying out the ViperOne ROM and loving it so far. But I have a question: whenever my screen goes off, it goes to the lock screen. I have the lock screen set to only come on after 10 minutes of inactivity, but it comes on 100% of the time, even if it's only been 1 second.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm using a pattern unlock. Not a huge deal, just kinda annoying.
