Questions about rooting?

Sorry if this is the wrong place, I couldnt find a thread about rooting and I have a DNA...

First thing I want to know is if I root it will it erase all my stuff?

Will it make my phone slower like jailbreaking does to Idevices?

Can I delete some of the stupid apps you are forced to keep?(reighn of amira, audible, etc.)

Yes it will erase everything. No it could potentially make it faster depending on what roms and settings you use. And yes you can delete Verizon bloatware.

A small note that will stop you in your tracks, if you updated to the last OTA, there is no current way to unlock your bootloader.

On your 4th/last question.... You can remove/disable Verizon bloatware while being STOCK.... NO need to Root for that anymore... That will also speed up your phone if you power off and back on after all the crap is disabled. Your app drawer will be cleaner too.
