Questions before making the switch.

I am currently using a Note 3 and have nearly decided to switch to the Nexus 5. I have a couple of general use questions before I make this jump.

1. Having gone from an Optimus G to the Note 3, I seriously miss the bright flash. Not necessarily for picture taking but more for a flash light. It was super bright and very useful for my day to day activities. The notes however can barely light up 3 feet in front of me. So my question is, how bright is the flash? Is it comparable to the nexus 4/LGOG?

2. I guess my hands aren't big enough for this phone or something but as I type this I am doing so weird balancing acts with the phone to reach the keys and I'm using both hands. The size is awkward for me. Its just between being too big for one handed use and too small for two handed use in portrait and too big for thumbs in landscape but too small for regular typing. It may be a huge 1st world problem but what one handed use like on the Nexus 5?

3. I know that its too early to tell so I won't ask how many times a day you have to charge or how many hours total you get but can someone tell me about how much screen time you're getting? I'm not expecting 6+ hours (even though I get that on my Note and is one of the big things I'll miss) but can you get 3 or 4? With some twitter or Youtube? Maybe 2 or 3 with games?

4. I know there's a simi general forum on this already but the audio on the note is terrible. It sounds recalling high pitched and single sided. The single speaker on the Nexus leads me to think it would sound similar but I have hopes that it would sound less tingy I guess.

5. Do you think there will be an otterbox for the nexus 5? Battery cases? Wallet/folio cases?

6. The otg capabilities on the Note 3 are wonderful. I can connect my external 500 HDD (it has to be the right format) and it works. I can connect a USB splitter and connect a flash drive, mouse and keyboard and they all work. I can even connect a wired 360 controller and it works. Has anyone used the OTG capabilities on the Nexus and can I do all of these things with it?

7. I can't seem to find this anywhere. The Note charges from 0-100 in about 2 hours. What is the charging time with the standard charger and how many amps is the charger?

I am very close to selling this phone and buying a Nexus so any help from those of you who have one would be greatly appreciated. And if you think I am making the wrong choice feel free to tell me why. Thanks

1. Flash seems fine on mine. I tested it as a flashlight and it was very bright. It's a little dimmer than my iPod Touch 5th gen was, but still great.

2. I have a little trouble reaching the top left corner when using my right hand, but it's not too bad. I think I have average sized hands (about 8.5 inches from pinky to thumb when stretched out.) The screen size is really great coming from a tiny 4 inch screen.

3. Unplugged my device at 7:15 this morning, and now it's about 1:15 with 20% battery left. This was with some 3G web browsing, as well as some youtube and twitter on my home wifi. So I'd say 80% in 6 hours is pretty good considering I've been using it most of the morning.

4. It's alright. Not amazing like my 2013 Nexus 7. Bass is barely there but it's certainly not "tingy". I give it a 7/10.

5. I dunno. Doubt I'll even use a case for a while because of how nice it feels in my hand. :D

6. Unfortunately, I can't use a flash drive or controller on it which seems odd. Hopefully it will be fixed in an update. pls gib OTG support google

7. I believe it took around 2 hours to fully charge from 14% yesterday, maybe even a little less. Also, the charger is 1.2A, compared to 1.35A on the Nexus 7 charger. I wonder how much faster it would charge with a 1.35A charger. Hmmm... I might test that out later.

Good luck with your decision! It's an amazing phone. :)
