Questions for unrooting and updating to 4.3 (HELP)

Im new to the forums and android, came from an iphone 5 to the galaxy s4. I have searched threaads for an answer to my question but could not find any. My issue is that i am currently stock rooted 4.2.2 and want to update to 4.3. I am aware of samsung's new KNOX security system so i know i have to fully unroot the phone before updating it not to trip the system. I have watched videos on how to unroot and go back to stock and understand the process, however i have one question regarding the process. My software and baseband is MF9, while the stock files are MDC. If unroot and go back to stock and change from MF9 to MDC, will i still be able to update to 4.3 MJA. Please help and i apologize in advance if there is any other thread related to this, because i looked but could not find any with an answer to this exact question.

Welcome to the forums.
If you unroot, and go back to that ROM, you should get an OTA alert to update, then it should prompt you for the 4.3 update.

Thank you, so there should be no error with downgrading from MF9 to MDC ? I am asking because all of the files listed here are MDC QbKing77 | Your Tech Simplified ; while my s4 is MF9.

If nothing has changed, it shouldn't. I did it once, and everything went OK.

If you haven't already done it, there are ROMs for Stock MF9 and Stock MJA (4.3). You can use either of those instead of MDC.
