A very dear friend of mine who is not very tech savvy bought this phone for it's durability she is getting 2 hours of battery life after a full charge. This can't be normal can it? Also a few weird things... Skype speakerphone does not work and neither do other android apps speaker phone (such as Tango). Anyone else experience these things? The speakerphone is not that big of a deal but the battery life is a deal breaker.

Any possible solutions?

Oh and is it possible to get rid of all the bloat?

I got one yesterday, and have charged it once overnight. I've been fiddling with it all evening at work and have about half battery. Seems like there is some sort of battery issue there.

How long should it charge for in its initial charge.

I just let it charge overnight. Honestly, I did not read what it said it should be charged for in the book. Just let it charge and dove right in! I was excited to learn my new phone, haha. Good luck with getting a new battery.
