So I have a coworker who said I could have his I-phone if i just take over his line.
He has the unlimited plan. Been with at&t for 8 years.

He heard me saying i was ready to leave sprint for at&t.
That would work out great for me. Wife could have the i-phone and i would get the skyrocket.

Question i have is.. would AT&T allow this??
Would they allow me to keep the unlimited data?
Would they allow me to port my phone numbers over?

Now i have also heard that AT&T throttles unlimited data plans??
If that is true ... then Maybe the new 5gig plan wouldn't be so bad.

Anyone with experience on this?

Try calling or going into the store. My guess is no he would have to terminate his plan since a subscription like this is personal. unless they put you on his plan then somehow make you the administrator and take him off. It seems confusing... try talking to customer support. Good luck

I would imagine AT&T would allow you to perform a change of responsibility and put the account under your name and social. Then you could do what you were looking to do with the account.

You can do a transfer of billing then port in your number but you would lose the unlimited data with the billing transfer unless you could get a manager override. If you use over 4gb data then ur better off on a tired plan. Hope that helps
