Quick App question I know someone can clear up for me

ok got a question about a couple of apps.....If you have a GV number and someone in your contacts calls that number will the only hear the Voice mail associated with GV number they called or if you have youmail will they hear your youmail voice mail.

I would like to have these services differentiate depending the number they call is this possible and if so how!

I don't have any of that stuff, but can't you just set it up on your phone, then call your number from a another phone and see what happens?

I do not know what youmail is but you can set it up GV to either use your GV voice mail or turn it off and it will use your cell carriers voice mail
