Quick charge 3.0

Anyone know if the HTC quick charge 3.0 chargers from HTC 10 are compatible with the LG8? My battery on my HTC 10 finally gave out and I replaced it with the G8 and have several OEM chargers from my 10. I remember when it first came out there was some question about interchanging the two.

They're both Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, so they should work with no problem.

That's what I was thinking but I remember article's about how HTC and LG implemented the USB C differently. Going to trying and search back for those articles. Seems like it was a bigger issue when USB C came out than now. Thanks for your input

USB-C Power delivery is actually a different spec than Qualcomm Quick Charge. I believe for the most part they are not interoperable. You either have one or the other. Also, if I recall correctly, quick charge is actually a deviation from USB specifications.
