Quick messaging Question

Sup guys, So far I am loving the GSII very much... But I have one gripe atm. I came from the captivate and it had a black background for txt chats.. On the GSII it is a white background behind the chat bubbles.. Not the biggest deal but aesthetically and for battery usage I would like a black Chat background.. Is there any way to change this? I have tried messaging settings and scrolled through endless windows but come up short.

Does this bother anyone else?

i use Handcent for messaging and you can customize colors or use skins. check it out.
