I've never flashed anything using a phone with no Sdcard. How does backing up your ROM/data/apps work with a phone without a Sdcard. Wouldn't your backups get deleted when you wipe your data in CWM?

I'm sure there is some alternative solution. Can anyone give me insight?

Unless I'm mistaken, the phone acts like the internal storage IS an SD card (even mounts it at /mnt/sdcard), so everything you put in there stays there if you wipe. As long as you don't wipe /sdcard

correct. wiping before flashing isn't an issue.

you can also checkout source.android.com and see how to flash something though fastboot
