QuickOffice and my docs gone after 5.0.1 update

I used QuickOffice quite often and the other day made a spreadsheet that I need to access. Updated last night to new version and now QuickOffice has vanished and I can't find my saved file!

Quick office is no longer part of lollipop. ..it has been replaced with Google docs, Google sheets and Google slides. You can still download Quick office from the play store if you still want to use it.

I did a search of the play store before and after my post and could not find Quick Office. Am I just missing it?

Sorry. ..I stand corrected. Just read that Google is no longer allowing quick office for download, as it is being replaced by the above Google Apps. Sorry for the confusion. .. (but I swear I saw it a few days ago while on the play store)

It was a big surprise for me.
Downloaded Android 5 on my 2012 Nexus 7 and Quick Office was totally gone.
Replaced with Goggle Docs, Slides, and Sheets.
A saw no announcement for this.

Google specifically said in an earlier announcement that Quick Office was going to be replaced.
It was going to be removed from the Play Store and get no more updates.

They also said that if you already had Quick Office you could continue using it.
