Has anyone tried to install the current version of Quickoffice on their Xoom? Does it work or does it force close? I know they are working on a version for honycomb someone said it was not going to be available till this summer...

Docs2Go works well on the XOOM if you're looking for a good MS Office app.

Just FYI, quickoffice is already on the zoom, it is just read only, you won't find it installed or anything like that, but if you try to open a MS office doc, it will ask you what you want to open it with. No edits or anything like that though.

As the previous poster said as well, Docs2go also has the read only free app up in the MP, it is also optimized for Honeycomb although I haven't downloaded it yet.

I will be buying one or the other, just not sure which one yet, they are both the same price.

I have docs to go full version and while it works fine on the Xoom I wouldn't call it tablet optimized.

Honestly if I had to do it over again I would spend my money on Quickoffice. The reason being that DocsToGo for android is a generation behind what they offer on iOS (they have a true tablet version for it) and since they got bought by RIM (blackberry) I'm not sure how much effort will go into development for Android. That coupled with the fact that we have already seen the tablet optimized version of Quickoffice (full version should be out soon) and it actually looks pretty awesome makes me regret my decision.
