Could the poor radio quality be reponsible for why i cant get a good stream from radio.com or tunein Radio? May have to get the rezound.

Noticed this yesterday too. Listen to ESPN Radio (through the app) almost every day. On my old Incredible, the stream almost never dropped. On the Nexus yesterday, the stream dropped every couple of minutes. Very annoying.

don't know if the app just needs to be updated for 4G/ICS or what...

And this is happneing with 2 different apps for me. Tunein radio and radio.com

To resurrect a recent thread - does anybody have any insight here?

I've taken a few trips lately, and TuneIn Radio stops and rebuffers enough to be annoying. I increased the Buffer size to 15 seconds, but it still happens. And it seems that there is still a decent 3G signal most of the time when this happens.

I have LTE turned off, as it isn't available in most of the areas I'm driving, and I figured the switching would degrade performance even further.

I would listen to various Internet Radio stations on my previous HTC Touch Pro 2, same geographic area, same contract with Verizon, and I don't recall it ever buffering or stopping.

Is this a reflection of poor radio performance, switching from one tower to another, or something like that which would hopefully be fixable via software update?

Thanks.
