Raising the White flat to WebOs

Hi everyone, I am new to the android arena.. I am a WebOs user, never used any other "smartphone". I am at a xroad and thought I would stop by an check out the community here. I am not sure what Android device I should have my sights on, so feel free to tell me the best phone to get that is able to be modded and not have limitations such as graphics or processor. There are SO many android devices I have no idea where to start. I am about to jump, where should I land?

Welcome to Android Central. It would be very hard for me to tell you which Android phone is best for you. It would depend on a lot of other info from you. What carrier are you on? What are you looking to get out of this phone? Etc.

I am interested in a fast phone, I am not a huge app count fan so that is not a driving force for me. I watch a lot of youtube videos for class mostly. I want a great email interface, I am on yahoo. I want a nice texting interface, but not a huge texter. Having a phone that is fairly easily modded would be nice. I use my camera and video a fair amount. A good calendar and PDF viewer would be a huge plus for me too. That is about it.. I have never owned a slab phone before, I have the Pre2 presently, I am not opposed to a slab phone but I would like a phone that is not hard to type virtually.
