Hey I'm new to Android, so I'm sure this has been asked before, but I'm coming from Blackberry so some of this is new to me.

The Droid 2 has 512MB RAM/8 GB ROM. What exactly does that mean? Which one is used for app storage?

There are so many apps for Android compared to BB, but I don't want to drag down my phone.

The 512 is random access memory and the 8gigs is for app storage and the system is partitioned off the 8 gigs
