Yello,
I'm the OCD type that's always trying to keep everything organized; whether it's my house, car, or electronics. So of course I'm pretty much constantly clearing out all of my running apps, and then at least once a day using the stock "Boost+" app that comes on the Bolt to clear junk and memory. So I was curious if there was a better way or if anyone has had good, proven luck with any other apps, programs, or tips/tricks that will either free up some RAM, or if there's a way to add RAM. I was thinking about utilizing a speed class 3 SD card and mounting that into my phone. However I'm unsure if that will just simply increase storage, or if I can mount it as RAM. Let me know your thoughts and suggestions! Thanks yous guys.

you gotta try Greenify !
it's the only app I trust.
however, about the 2nd question I don't recommend doing that as it's too slow for the phone and it's gonna slow it down significantly.

Blue,

As the user above me stated, Greenify if a great app. As far as utilizing an SD card for VRAM, I don't believe it is possible. Maybe someone with more hard coding experience than I can chime in. I know it's possible to increase VRAM on a Linux system. Android is based off Linux...

That was my thought. Maybe I'll just get one and give it a try they aren't that much. And if it doesn't work, well hell I got lots more storage. I'll look into that Greenify app. Thanks to you both.

Idk why no one knows what there really talking about and didnt give a direct answer? But the SD card will slow your phone down but give you extra storage. Well it will only slow the read and write speeds which depending on the app your using, if the storage speed is the bottleneck and cant keep up with the processor, then the SD card hurts overall performance. And no its not possible to add more ram thru an SD card, SD cards are just external storage put into your phone to increase storage size, and again an SD card will most likely slow your phone
