Ran stuck on boot loader screen, saying downloading and do not turn off target

I forgot my passcode to my user profile on a galaxy tab e. After holding power, volume up and the home keys,I selected boot loader, my tablet has now been stuck on the downloading screen and won’t allow me to shut down. The screen says downloading an do not turn off target and I can’t preform any action. I also tried holding the power, home nd volume down key, but no luck, any suggestions for this electronically challenged gal?

Hold the power button down until it restarts (maybe 15-30 seconds).
