Random camera light flashes

I seem to have random camera light flashes that I can't seem to tie into any specific app or actions. Using an application permission app I tried disabling any permission to use the camera on every app I could find. I don't have any flashlight apps other than the stock one. Anyone else have this issue or have any thoughts.? I am on Verizon and got the phone within the first couple of weeks the s7 Edge came out. This has been happening a long time and I keep thinking a software update would fix it but doesn't.

Flash notifications is off and was never turned on. So still searching for a solution.

I've been having the same problem as well. Has something to do with the camera. If you look at all open apps, you'll find that the camera is there. Go to it or close it & the flash will stop. Not sure of exact cause or representation yet but I'm digging.

I never did find the solution but haven't had the issue since upgrading to nougat. But thank you for the response.
