Hoping someone can help me!
My Samsung Galaxy Note 3 ?eavesdrops? on me. I have the voice control on so it can respond to commands like ?Snooze? or ?Stop? (for the alarm), and questions like ?What time is it?? (helpful in the middle of the night). But now, since the microphone is always open . . . it is always listening. I was under the impression that you have to trigger an answer from it giving it a command. However, my phone seems to have a mind of its own.
A day or two after getting it, I was minding my own business, curling iron in one hand, getting ready for work. Suddenly out of nowhere she pipes up and says ?Devil? I?ll search for the devil for you?. Uhh . . . no thanks. What kind of command did she hear?!?!
Yesterday, again while getting ready for work, she says ?Sometimes it nice to get something new?. Well, payday is today ? but she didn?t know that.
Then this morning (yes, you guessed it, while getting ready for work) she tells me ?Sometimes you have to be quiet even if there is more to say?. This phone is like an electronic fortune cookie.
Throughout my day, she?ll randomly yell out ?I have no answer for xxxx? (inserting a portion of my conversation here), or ?I?ll search the internet for you?. She does this from inside a closed cover, in my purse, on the floor.
I have Googled my little heart out, and can?t find any other Note 3 owners complaining about this.
Don?t you think it?s weird??

Mine did it too, lol. A friend was over and we were all sitting around talking and suddenly the phone said, I'll search for the 91 mustang. He looked at me and said, 'your phone talks on its own?'.

Cool. I haven't had any luck getting mine setup to respond to my command. It will stop the alarm and stuff like that but not go into Google Now unless I open Google Now first.

I think it's S voice that does it, Google now is only awake when you're on the Google now page, at least it is for me. But, S voice is listening on the lock screen, that's where I use it the most.
