Random notification sounds and voices

I am having problems with samsung galaxy s6. I live in an area with bad network coverage and the phone feels the need to tell me in an annoying voice everytime I go out of coverage. I checked the accessability settings for voice assistant and nothing is turned on. I also tried turning off s voice. Yet it persists. The phone also makes a notification sound at random times when there are no notifcations. I turned off notification reminders with no luck. I downloaded an app called notifcation history that may help me find the source of the problem. Can someone please offer some insight. Thanks for reading. The phone has been scanned for viruses with mcafee livesafe and nothing came up.

Check your settings under your cell and network settings and see if you can find the service notification settings.

I have no idea why you could be experiencing random notifications. Go into Settings>Apps>Running Apps and see if there's anything in there you don't recognize. That's a start.
