This is weird.
My mother uses an S23, on rental from Freedom Mobile. They have this new thing where you can "rent" the phone for a time and either pay the rest of the phone off to keep it or give it back and get a new one at the end of the contract.
She has never put a pin, passcode, or lock screen on any of her phones. She barely goes anywhere, so I guess that's okay?
However, earlier today she noticed that there is now a password lockscreen. One she doesn't remember adding & therefore we don't know the password. I don't know exactly when it happened, but it was at home. She only noticed it when she picked up the phone to go to another room. Neither of us know how to get past this lock screen, preferably without factory resetting.
The only thing close i found was a feature to unlock remotely from Samsungs Smartthings Fnd Your Device site, but that feature was discontinued at least a year ago.
Help would be appreciated!
