Random reboot culprit?

Anyone have any suggestions for me to troubleshoot a new random reboot issue I'm experiencing on my rooted Droid X running Apex 1.31?

This has just started happening over the past week or two and is totally random - no rhyme or reason as to why. Sometimes just as the phone is sitting it'll reboot - sometimes it's just as I try to open an app (Weatherbug last night for example) - or as I'm reading an email - or surfing with Dolphin HD.

No clue why this has started - I've been rooted and on Apex 1.31 for months now.

I really don't want to wipe and start over since I have the phone how I like it (other than this issue).

Any ideas?

Check out the "Note" beneath my sig ... it could be you downloaded an app that auto updates or that an update to an existing app checked the auto-update box for you (it's happened to me).

I notice that not all apps are pre-checked for auto-update any more (fortunately). But you should, at the least, go through your My Apps and see what's what. Don't forget to look at your free apps, too.

Any ideas?

Do you use Widgetlocker? My phone does the same thing from time to time & I believe that is the culprit based on some other people experiencing the same issue from the comments in the XDA forums. I like Widgetlocker too much to go without it though.

Thank you both - and yes I do use widget locker! Time to investigate further.

Well I disabled Widget Locker 3 days ago and have not seen a random reboot since. It was definitely the culprit - I'm sad because I really like it too.
