Random Reboot Fixed?

I have not had my TF reboot while idle since the last update. Have I been lucky with timing or is everyone seeing that bug fixed?

I noticed the same thing....i was having random reboots with my 32g model anytime i was docked and it went idle.....mine would do it anywhere from 1 to 6 times in a day....and now nothing

I'm in the UK with these 'random reboot' issues...

I'm now on latest firmware and with Android 3.2 on board, and I'm still seeing them... Logs indicate that about half the time I have the reboot (during standby), it is often in the early hours, and that within 10 minutes a second reboot has occurred.

I have a keyboard dock connected. I have not yet tested whether it only occurs when the dock/TF are not plugged into the mains, as well as when they are, but that seems like something to test.

I have a 16GB Class 4 micro SD plugged in the tab.

I am not rooted, have no custom rom's. I have no clear 'suspect' apps installed.

Please... any suggestions or ideas?

I suggest you call Asus, you might have a defective unit. I have not had a random reboot since that update so at least for me it is fixed.

Mine still reboots but more infrequently.

min has been fixed since the update before 3.2

No reboots for 17 hours so far.

Haven't been usibg the TF, just monitoring it.

Had already disabled Skype auto start, and removed Trillian to get rid of 'obvious' constant backgrounding on 3rd party apps. Was still getting reboots.

So I removed my class 4 16GB microSD...

And anecdotally, until proved otherwise, this coincides with 17 hours of restart-free standby.

Still getting the restarts regularly...

Never when plugged in... always while running on battery.

Any ideas what this is, or do I need to RMA?

A1CS Tablet

I really need help.

I am running android 2.3 with latest update on my A1CS tablet but it still reboots over 50 times a day!

I don't know what causes it because at first I thought it was my dock, then I thought it was rebooting when left unused but now it even does it when it is locked!

Can someone help?

Have you tried a factory reset?
If it still does rebooting after that, it is a hardware defect.

Mine reboots randomly a few times/wk that I know about. I think it's related to wifi, although it's too intermittent to be able to verify.
