random reboot issue since kitkat

Since my phone was upgraded to KitKat, it's been every couple of days randomly rebooting itself. I have no idea what else could be causing it other than KitKat. Is anybody rise experiencing this?

I have a problem with mine randomly shutting down (not rebooting). I don't have any pre-KitKat experience; I upgraded it immediately when I first got it (early December). The shutdowns started about a week or so ago, sometimes it will do it several times a day, sometimes not at all. Phone is not rooted, and I've installed only popular, highly-rated apps. Dunno what the cause is.

No, I've not experienced any random rebooting.

So far I havent had any reboots or shut downs as mentioned above.
If I was having reboots or shutdowns often enough,I might see if the same results happened while in safe mode.

Mine is the T-Mobile version (effectively an unlocked GSM version). It's the XT1053 variety. It hasn't shut down in the past couple days, so... <shrug>

I have the same problem, with the Sprint version. It did it a lot shortly after the upgrade, but hasn't, recently. I plan to do a factory reset, and if it ever happens again after that, I will ask Motorola for a new phone. Going that doesn't come up.
