So my Galaxy S3 has been randomly resetting when I'm using it. Even after I have done factory resets... does anyone know how to fix this or find out what the problem is? If it's an app (which I'm not sure why)... how do I figure out which app? (The resets don't occur as I'm using any specific app) But I think it might be related to after I copy and paste soemthing.... that's when I have noticed it happening the most anyways.

There's a known bug that occurs when the clipboard gets full. To clear the clipboard buffer:

  • Go into the messaging app and click on the pencil icon to create a new message
  • Long press in the Enter message field
  • Tap Clipboard
  • Tap Clear

HTH

That's ridiculous

What's ridiculous? That the clipboard buffer causes resets, or my procedure for clearing the buffer? There may be an easier way to clear it, but I know this one works.

Yea, that a clipboard is causing the reboots, guess Samsung has to patch it
