Random screen lock during phone calls

Randomly during phone calls the screen will lock automatically during the call. To get back to the call in order to use the keypad, etc I have to slide the puzzle piece. Didn't used to do this if i remember correctley. Don't like it but I cant figure out why its doing it?? Any ideas?

When holding the phone to my head..... I have the timeout set to 30 seconds. Does it sometimes, and other times it doesnt.
