Hey i'm new to the whole android platform and have been lurking the forums ever since i found it a few weeks back. i was just eligible for the upgrade july 1st and was lucky enough to snatch up the last Evo they had at a Radioshack the 2nd. i am liking the phone and community very much, But enough with an introduction onto my point:
My phone has been acting really weird, it constantly taps on a specific part of the screen as if i were tapping it myself without even touching the screen. It is very annoying and it does it tenfold when it is connected to the charger. i saw a post about it but there wasnt a resolution to it. i tried a few battery pulls, i also did the "turning it on while holding the down volume key to erase the data" solution(i dont know what that's called) and many restarts but the issue still persists.
i was wondering if anyone has had the same issue and found a solution or should i just go and exchange the phone (since it also seems laggy as well, which i have been reading on these forums that it shouldnt be).
