First of all, both my wife and I have the GNEX and we recently bought extended batteries.
A couple days ago (right after we got the extended batteries), my wife's GNEX just started burning through battery insanely fast. Not only that, but her phone seems to stay warm to hot all the time.
My GNEX, however, seems to be working just fine with the extended battery. But hers is just draining like crazy
So, I thought it must be one of two things - 1) the battery is defective OR 2) something buggy with an app or process
Well, we did a battery switch and changed out this afternoon. So far, it seems that it is not the battery but something with her phone.
Therefore I started digging around and the biggest culprit battery-wise for her is her Exchange Email. She has her Hotmail, Gmail, and her school's exchange email all set up. But the exchange is draining 42% of her battery.
The thing is, her standard battery wasn't burning out this fast. So I don't know what to think here.
Not using exchange is not an acceptable solution. Something is weird here that this is a new phenomenon with the extended battery.
Any ideas?
