Rapid charging

Anyone having issues with rapid charging? Mine just stopped on my Verizon S6

What are you measuring the charging current with? (That's the only way that you can tell if it's charging at the normal rate, not the quick charge rate.)

Did you check to see if your rapid chargers are compatible with the GS6? A full repaid charge should take than 80 minutes. If they are, then a call to tech support to determine return & exchange.

Unplug everything and then plug it back up. It happened to me the other night and that fixed it for me.

Erasat would be more conversant but I recall that some chargers aren't Qualcomm compatible? I infer form that not all rapid chargers are created equal and aren't necessarily compatible with devices like the GS6 that have this capability.

Both chargers at the same time stop working, more that likely it is the phone. Unless he perhaps installed a new case that maybe hindering charging.

I only asked because he already consulted tech support. You're right though, it could be the device.

It ended up being Verizon stupid rapid car charger that was killing the phone. It over loaded the battery

It goes without saying, make sure that the charger is compatible.

It's like using the docking station power supply on a laptop instead of the ac adapter that came in the box.

This was Verizon charger and they said it was compatible and worked fine. Maybe a bad one, who knows
