I tried searching but I am not finding much info. The Pixel is listed "Rapid Charge" and the Note & is Quick Charge. I have bought many QC2 and QC3 chargers for other phone so I am interested in finding out if I need to buy new chargers for my Pixel.

I took this from:
First comparison: Google Pixel XL vs. Galaxy Note 7 | Android Central

Pixel XL: Charging Rapid Charging
Note7: Quick Charge 2.0 Qi wireless Powermat wireless

If there are separate chargers for Rapid Charging I am having a hard time finding them on Amazon.

It does not use Qualcomm's QuickCharge technology. It doesn't need a special charger, it just means that a typical spec compliant 5V/3A charger will provide fast charging.

How does that compare to quick charge 3.0

Any idea what will happen if we use QuickCharge?

It is very similar. It also does different stages of power depending on the current battery capacity but it is very similar and the charging time ends up being about the same.

Depending on the brick that's connected to it it will charge most likely at 5 volts two amps which will be 10 watts compared to the 15 what's that normal fast charging is capable of.

I'm assuming that the Pixels' rapid charging is similar to what the Nexus 6p and 5x have.

Also, for the record, Samsung and LG both use the Qualcomm QuickCharge standard, but they also both included their own standard that works with the bundled charges that come in the box. In my admittedly limited experience, both the G5 and S7e/Note 7 charge faster on the bundled chargers that came in the box than QC 2.0 chargers that I have bought. Especially the G5.

This is the power adapter that the Pixel comes with for anyone that wants another (when Google actually gets them in stock):

It's mentioned in Benson's thread that the following is a good USB charger that will charger the pixels at full speed (18W supporting USB PD) and it's about $18:

"Nexus 6P used USB Type-C's new 1.5A and 3.0A levels at 5V for up to 15W of charging.
Pixel phones use those Type-C levels too.
Power Delivery adds additional capabilities, including increased voltage, which is what allows the Pixel phones to go to 18W (9V/2A)."

So ideally you want a USB charger that supports PD and does 9V at 2A.

Yes different charging then Nexus 6p and 5x, in that it does 9 volt charging. Should make for faster charging when cables get worn out and the resistance goes up right? Older USB cables start to charge very slow when they get old. I'm pretty sure the higher voltage helps charge quicker without having to pull high amps. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks.
