Rar/zip archive extractor app?

I have a 98mb file I downloaded that needs to be extracted. I tried astro and all it said was "0 bytes copied". Tried androzip and it said "archive successfully extracted" but it extracted nothing.

Thought maybe it was a file size issue, so I tried it with a 1mb file. Same exact thing. Tried uninstalling, reinstalling both apps, same thing.

Help?

Sure the file is not corrupt when you send it? How are you getting it there?

downloaded the first directly from mediafire. then the second (1mb) one I sent to my email and saved to my sd card same issue with both

What happens when you place a file there via mounting the USB drive to your computer?

Just tried mounting as usb. Tested the file (1mb) first on pc, no problems. Threw it on the sdcard, astro still says "copied 0 bytes".
