A little skeptical on the story of this phone. It's drawing bids tho.

What's so rare about it that someone would pay over $1,000? I swear, people can sell anything on ebay and get ridiculous $$$$. Even if it was rare, I still don't see the attraction, since cell phone values go down quickly after launch. SMH!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, I have a brand new condition HTC G1 (first android phone) can I get $1,000 too? You would think the first android phone would be worth more. jk

It's amazing what people will pay just to have bragging rights.
