Rattle Sound in my nexus 6p

Not sure if anyone has posted or has experienced this however i just got my nexus 6p delivered yesterday. After one night of using I notice that when i sit the device down I hear a slight rattle or something sound coming from about mid to upper portion of the device. Even if i tap on these areas i get the same sort of hollow-ish rattle. Has any one else experienced this, or should I return i do know that with some phones with OIS this may be common however the 6p does it digital so there should be no parts rattling.

I do not hear any rattling in my 6P but it seems something is probably loose. I certainly would return as that does not seem right.

Mine does that. I think its something with the power button. I'm not too worried about it.

I was thinking the same I have had this issue with other phones just wanted to know if anyone else experienced this as well.

Mine is solid. I wish I heard a slight rattle for OIS, that would mean my videos would be much less shaky..Lol

It may be the screen, my friends was doing it and I took a look at it, and when I pressed the lower right hand corner it sounded like a slight pop or rattle. That would be the screen separating from the phone...jeez, this is one problem I hope wouldn't get wide spread. Means the glue is heating up from the temp of the phone I would think.

Yeah, I have this rattle too whenever I set the phone down. Another thread here says it's likely just the autofocus making a sound and it's sometimes heard on other phones, too.

There's another thread on the forums that attributes the rattle to the SIM card tray.

Like Stang68 said it is most likely the auto focus within the camera. This same exact concern happened with me when I got my galaxy S5. My N6P does this as well but only if I set it down somewhat hard. My S5 would have its auto focus rattle if I just shook it with my ear close to the device.

I just noticed if I put the camera up to my ear i can hear the auto focus working. So the rattle is probably from that. Also my Manufacture date is 10/13/15. Wonder if its a bad batch of camera modules or is this noise normal. So far my camera works great, and the auto focus is fast and precise.

I am thinking it is the autofocus its right around that area that you hear it and it seems to only happen when i sit the phone down or tap lightly on the back above the finger print sensor. Everything works fine and no issues with the photos so it is working properly.

Mines does the same. But when the camera is activated the slight rattle goes away.

Exactly the same here. Rattle sound in top right side but is stops when camera is activated. Is this something I should worry about?

My iPhone 5S does it too. Seems to be a normal thing for the autofocus to do.

I got the rattle but only after a month or so of having the phone!! Mines comes from upper left portion of the ohone, it gets worse when hot to the touch however is still heard when cool!! Should I talk to Huawei or is it not a major issue??

Open the camera app, shake the phone and listen. It probably won't rattle, or just slightly.

My S6 and N6P have this rattle sound. And S6 was way louder than N6P. But it all goes away when the camera is on.
