That's why the leaked specs have them both launching with ics. And if the leaked specs hold up then this phone is a bust. I mean seriously? It's barely an upgrade from the razr maxx. It's what the maxx should have been. Motorola is just trying to milk every penny then can out of the Droid line

This may not be where this belongs but here I go. I feel like the Motorola phones are going to become the top tier Nexus phones. I must admit I am drooling a little bit over the Razr Maxx HD. So it seems like they will get the latest OS fairly quickly if not at the same time.

i meant they were going to announce this all in sept which they did. apparently there were devices at the event running JB so i wasn't far off. They still havent said when the phone is coming out and promised an upgrade to jelly bean before the end of the year so. Likely that it is ready to launch with JB but the carriers prevented it from happening =\
