Was there any word on the Razr HD and MAXX price points? I didn't see anything but I'm wondering if I just missed it. I'm going to be really disappointed if it hits the $300 mark after the S3 was priced so low.

wouldn't be suprised if razr hd was 200 and maxx was 300, like last years counterparts
imo, in the US market, GS3 is still the phone to beat

Yeah. Probably $199 for the HD and $299 for the MAXX HD.

if moto is really doing 100 off new moto phones for non jb receiving phones that would make hd 99/maxx hd 199. That and a double your data deal would keep me on vzw. T-mobile is looking real tempting right now. Especially with note 2 around the corner even though its a little bigger than i would like.

Verizon is definitely going to hit that $300 price point for the MAXX HD. They pulled that price when the OG RAZR came out last November, and that phone didn't have the big battery or 720p screen. I agree with the above posters that it'll be $99 for the M, $199 for the HD and $299 for the MAXX.

Sidenote: That will probably only apply to Bionic and Photon (maybe even ATRIX 2) owners. Those phones are in my opinion the least likely to get Jelly Bean.

That was back when every 4G phone was coming out at $300. What's the last 4G phone to come out that high?

What I'm interested in is the off contract / full price.

Yeah, unfortunately, thinking $299 for the MAXX HD but with the $100 rebate for old Moto users, makes it tolerable. I'd like to wait till late 2013 for the next round of Motos which I think will blow the competition away, but my DroidX won't wait that long.

You'd have to trade-in your existing phone, which may be worth more than $100 in the open market.

And it would have to be a 2011 Motorola phone.

I'm not quite sure about this as I thought Motorola said it would be any 2011 phone and onward. I tried to check the official website but it's not working properly so I did a Google search and it says 2011 (or later).

Motorola releases details on its $100 trade-in for devices that won't be updated to Jelly Bean | The Verge

I'd be interested in knowing the retail price because I'm considering paying full retail for this.

Which 2012 Motorola phone won't get Jelly Bean? :)

The most that I have seen for any non iPhone is $650 off contract so I hope the HD may come in at $600 and the Maxx at $650.
