I have a MAXX HD, but am in a unique position to swap it for a Galaxy S4. Should I do it?

Samsung phones have disappointed me in the past with their signal strength, but if the Note 2 is indication, this may have been solved. The battery on the S4 is smaller than the MAXX HD, but should get me through an entire day...and that 1080 screen is appealing. I like the MAXX HD, but dislike the lag it presents at times.

Thoughts?

I'm sure the MAXX HD is a pretty decent phone, but this honestly isn't that much of a question.

^Well, to be honest, I'm just concerned that Samsung hasn't fixed the signal & voice quality issues.

I see. Here, if you scroll down to the telephony portion of the review, call quality and reception is described as top notch.

I have had a Defender case on my GS3 and my son had a Ballistic Maxx case on his GS3. Never had any signal issues. I will be getting a Defender for my GS4.

I say yes.... I also have the Maxx HD and much prefer the S3 over it. Giving that you can swap for an S4 is almost a no brain-er. I'm not knocking the maxx because I go days before even having to think about placing it on a charger. However it is laggy. But it also has a strong radio inside and although reception isn't an issue on my S3 the Maxx is better.

I think you would really enjoy the S4 over the maxx....
