Clear the message app cache then force stop it and reboot your device

Cleary the s25 series supports rcs so I am really frustrated hoping I don't have to get a new number just for rcs to work

Sometimes when you first set up a device Esim or sim just doesn't go right for some reason or even a transfer from another device sometimes these settings need a reset to get them going again.

Your welcome

You're experiencing the leaving iPhone going to Android issues.

Did you go into your iMessage settings and turn iMessage off. Did you go into FaceTime and turn off?

There's also this link to enter your number. It's a iMessage thing, really a issue when in groups with iPhone users.

Awesome thanks for the help I didn't know that link existed. I did uncheck iMessage and FaceTime when I wipe the phone I also turned it off on my iPad. I went to the link and put in my number and it gave me a message saying I'm the phone number entered is not registered with i message.

It is super strange because some iPhone users can send me a text and some can't

I had this same issue when I first went from iPhone to Android. It's super annoying.

My issue went away when apple supported RCS, it took some tweaking on the iPhone users part, but it works now. They had to go in and turn RCS off then back on to get it to work. It was mostly group chats I was in that had iPhone users in it that I had issues, I would get everyone's reply except for the iPhone users. If you Google this issue you will see a lot of people have this issue when leaving iPhone, even after doing all that I listed. Some say it will eventually just start working, but it's still a pain.
