RCS Chats on Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra on Verizon

For some reason I get the following message when trying to turn on RCS Chats on my Galaxy S24 Ultra on Verizon using Google Messages. "RCS chats aren't available for this device Your device does not currently support this feature.

I have the latest version of Carrier Services installed.

Any ideas how to remedy this?

Do you have the ability to toggle the switch off and on? If so, do that and let it sit.
I had problems when it first started for me over a year ago. Since then, zero issues.
