RCS Google Messages

I have been rocking the Chat Features(RCS) on Google Messages since it was available. Not exactly sure when, I think two days ago, but it randomly stopped working. Now all I get is "Setting Up" Trying to verify your phone number. I have done everything with Carrier Services app, Messages app, removed SIM(re-inserted SIM), done everything found online and still in "Setting Up".

Just making everyone aware in case anyone else is encountering it. I am sure, since I can't force it, it will clear itself up.

Sometimes a reboot of the phone for me would resolve that?

Can you describe "done everything" a bit better? Are your Carrier services and Google Messages apps up to date on Google Play? By the way I think Samsung messages has that feature now as well.

Make sure not using a VPN

For those having issues with Google Message it's cause S908USQU2AVE4 carrier Firmware broke it so Samsung will have to update again for that Firmware, For Unlocked Firmware May patch Google Message works didn't break on Unlocked.

That's good to know! I've been trying all the fixes listed online too, but to no avail. I'll stop pulling out my hair now. ??????

Happened to me as well. Fixed it by joining the beta version of Google messages.

Mine as well, like 2 or 3 days ago
