RCS Hack - Unlock Note 10 +

So I am on Bell in Canada. They have RCS enabled on Samsung phones using the stock messaging app. I purchased an unlocked Note 10+. RCS is not available for me (I am assuming because it is an unlocked device).

My question is about the RCS Hack. When I try to initiate the RCS Hack through Activity Launcher it will not allow me to "Set RCS flags". When I click on it a pop up comes at the bottom of the screen saying opening but immediately goes back to the Activity Launcher app.

Anyone else experiencing this issues. I know the roll out happened in the US, but not yet in Canada.

Thanks.

That was for Google message when it first came out, now if you download Google message should have RCS out the box . Samsung unlocked message app no RCS or hack yet

Thanks for the reply. I did download Google Messages and am using that as I prefer it. Not giving me the option. Saying chat features unavailable.

Called my carrier and they say that RCS is being pushed to my device.

Gotcha , no problem!
As far as I know it was full roll out in the US , might want to try the beta of Google messages and use the hack see if you get it going until full roll out on your end happens

Yea tried that as well. When I am in activity launcher it won't allow me to "set RCS flags". It keeps jumping back into the activity launched app.

Not sure if it is because I have an unlocked device. I did the back on my Pixel 2xl which was from the carrier and it worked fine.

Go to xda developers and download an older version of Android messages, then you can use the activity launcher to hack it. That's what I had to do.

At this point, you shouldn't need to use the Active Launcher hack. Google said it was going to be available to everybody on the US carriers by the end of the year. The only way that a phone won't get is: a) It isn't capable in the first place or b) Your carrier is actively blocking it. If (b), the the carrier can get its pee pee smacked for violating the terms of the Block C purchase it made.
