RCS pictures issue

Is anyone else having problems sending pictures on RCS? When I go to send a picture it just gets stuck in "sending" then maybe 20 min later it finally sends. The only fix I have found to work is tap it to change it to SMS/MMS. Or clear the cache + force stop the app. Why is Google so bad at messaging?! Pixel is such a let down this year.

Was out at dinner earlier and had same issue, was in a 5g connection. As soon as I changed to SMS it went through fine

This for some reason only happens to me while I'm on wifi. I've tried everything to fix it, but everything only temporarily fixes the problem before it arises again.

It's not a pixel issue. I've had the same problem and I'm on a OnePlus 7 Pro. It's Google messages.

That's what I was figuring. My gf has the same issue, and she is on a 4XL.
