re: a kindle 3 I have on layaway

I am trying to find out all I can on a Kindle fire 3 tablet that I put a down on at a pawn shop on Fri and it is on layaway. The info I have on this Kindle fire 3 so far is what is on the receipt. A Kindle fire 3 the numbers I have are 112422 and the serial number is 00D2070834060FLM. I can't find anything online with the info I have in hand specifically for this tablet. It will be Tue before I can go to the pawn shop and look at the tablet more closely and get a picture of it. I know the pawn shop owner. If the tablet won't fill my needs. I can get my down payment back and he will just put it out for sale again. I need the tablet so do a specific job. The tablet has to have a headphones/line out and an audio jack in. If the tablet only has a built in micophone. I can work around that. The Kindle fire 3 that I put the down on looks like the fire HDX 8.9 but this Kindle fire 3 has no built in camera.

Amazon Kindle Fire HD - Full phone specifications is probably it. Probably (but I could be wrong) no audio in or mic on the HD, but possibly on the HDX. Android tablets usually have audio in, especially if they're built to access the phone network. (You don't have to have a phone account to use them - they work just fine internally or on wifi.)

I went back to the pawn shop today and looked the model number stored on the tablet. When I hit home > menu > settings > device info. It came up with (Kindle Fire HD 8.9" 3rd generation) for the model number. Power and volumes buttons are in the back. There is no built in camera (front or back). It does have wifi, bluetooth communications, it has a built in digital audio player/recorder. Can this Kindle Fire tablet handle Android app''s?
