Re Register Sim???

So for whatever reason my HOX and my wife's B2B torch decided to not take nor receive calls, but data and text worked fine. Even though both show 3 bars.

Called 611 and the lady re registered the imei on both and now it works and we both get 5 bars. She said its like a signal/reception refresh.

Has anyone else gone through this? Cuz it was pretty dope lol. I'm wondering now what reception will be like at work and other places.

You imei is different than you sim. Can't say I've ever seen this issue though personally.

Issue was my HOX sim card reader was shot.
