Re-Size Pic for Messages

Note 5 AT&T Nougat ....I can't find a lower camera Size Setting than 16:9 6 M and wind-up with 3 MB pictures, some I want to attach in a Message.
Emails Offer "RESIZE" that I use.
IS there a way to RE-Size a Gallery Picture Before a Message or After Clk'ing Share? I can't find one.

Use a 3rd party texting app. Textra is a great alternative & it automatically compresses images before sending. You can specify the max file size to meet your carriers restrictions.
