Reactions to iPhone 4 from WWDC 2010

You can always get it and run it on T-Mobile you know?!

why would you want to buy a new smartphone only to have to unlock it and do all sorts of work to get it to do what you want it to do?

you can also run different kinds of operating systems but would you WANT to?

Its an obvious conclusion that the iPhone 4 is pretty unimpressive and really offers nothing new to the market.

Other than that gyroscope...............So we now have a self calibrating accelerometer......weeeee lol

Lol yeah, after he was done with feature 1 and 2, I got pretty bored after that. The hardware looks cool, but everything else was stuff that's been out for a while now.

just another marginal upgrade and redesign to get apple die-hards running out to drop another $300 on their iphone. typical apple.

That display blows everything else out of the water. It doesn't matter that its 3.5 inches.

Bottom line, EVO still reigns supreme IMHO.

Sorry, but the new features that the OS4 will bring out still don't bring it to the same level that Android is at the moment.

Ehh. They're pretty similar, actually. What iPhone lacks Android has, and what Android lacks, iPhone has. Its pretty much a draw at this point.

Or at the least explain how IPS compares/betters to OLED.

I will admit i am clueless in regards to both technologies and would love to hear from someone with some knowledge about them both.

I think the iPhone for Verizon is coming this fall, and an announcement is due later this summer. It would explain why AT&T is offering upgrades right away, to lock people in so they can't switch.

I think you're right. One of the things I like about Sprint is their every-year upgrade policy. I love the Evo now - I can get Sprint's latest and greatest next year.
