Hi all

I've searched and not found an answer to this. I rooted my Nook Color with autonooter 2.12.25 from day one of owning. Two questions, when I go into Nook library and read a book I cannot get Landscape Mode to work and yes I have it checked in all the right places. I also installed the Nook for Android App and whenever I try to open it it flickers and brings me back to my home screen.

Anyone have any ideas what's going on??

The B&N stock reader does not do landscape. Try another reader, not sure which support landscape. Aldiko, Kindle, Google Reader.

Cheers,

I talked to the B&N nook staff about this thing and the default reader on NookColor version 1.1 does not do landscape for most books. Basically the publisher/B&N chooses the layout for a book, so most childrens books are landscape while novels are portrait. Apparently some magazines and newspapers will support either, and pdf's, txt, and other documents you load onto the nook yourself can choose to be either landscape or portrait.
