So I'm using the in phone version of android auto and it works great for me with one exception, WhatsApp... I can send messages without issue but received messages won't read out.
Not sure if there is a voice prompt to read them but tapping the play message sees the white bar open with 4 bouncing balls and nothing more, it just hangs about until I tap on the screen again and they disappear back to the main AA home screen. The read message voice command (not sure if this is supposed to read the WhatsApp) tells me there are no new messages but does work if I receive a regular SMS.. I've also noticed that the notification pops up two windows per received message, if I receive a second message the top notification of the 2 changes to 2 new messages (no text of the actual message showing either) not sure if this is an issue/reason, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling WhatsApp but no joy so far. Any tips or pointers on getting this to work?
