Now that people are starting to receive their HTC 10's I'd be curious to hear what kind of batter life y'all are getting. It'll take a couple of days to settle down.

This is really my first day with the phone and I took it off charge before I went to sleep, that means it was sitting there doing nothing for almost 8 hours. So far today, according to GSam the phone has used 53% battery in 16hr and 47m. SOT is only 1hr 26m so no big shakes there.

I'd post a screen shot but I don't know how to take one!

My phone has been on battery for 6hr 52m, with a SOT of about 135 minutes. have 58% left.
Used it to check emails, text and whatsapp, keep up with twitter, keep tinkering with settings, watch some youtube videos, run some speedtest. I expect it to get better once I stop tinkering with all the settings.

Not bad for the first day. A little over 23 hours and 3 SOT

Battery life is alright, average. Used to phones with bigger battery like S7E or better battery like 6s plus. This will get thru the day of medium usage, heavy usage you may run out of juice by dinner time. But you can do a quick charge and get sufficient juice quickly.

So much of super sipping 820.
At 5.1 I still think that 2k is overkill.
6s plus w smaller battery still beats them all.
Sony had it right w 3000mAh and 1080 screen for sure

Mine is killing it when it comes to battery life. Charged before bed, had 1 hr screen time, 2 hrs music, 10hrs total and it only went down to 93%. No battery saver used. 8 emails continually scanning for messages. I've never had battery life like that on a phone.

That's pretty damn good

Update; when I typed that an hour ago, my phone was at 90%. I played with a few settings but mostly left it unused. Now, an hour later, it's at 89%. I don't know if that's typical or will remain like that but it's wonderful, to say the least.

That's excellent. Mine is pretty good. About on pat with my s7 edge i had. But not as good as yours.

I'm getting terrible standby time on mine. I'm losing 10% + overnight and I'm used to losing 3-5% on every other phone I've had. Doze doesn't appear to be working as i still wake up with emails and such. I have the Verizon version I'm curious to know other's results with the same version?

My Doze works. I lost about 2% overnight. See attached. Verizon HTC 10 device, and I also had a Gear S2 connected the whole time via Bluetooth.

Yesterday I went 2 hours screen on time, 13 hours of standby with about 50% left. So that puts it right at 4 hours SoT and a full 24 hours standby.

Idling on this phone is much stronger than the S7 Edge I have.

I've found the secret to two day battery life, don't put in a SIM card! 😋

3 hours SOT, battery saver kicked in around 47 hours.

I really expected to see more improvement over Moto XPE. You know - super efficient 820, better display, etc. Seems like nothing changed at all. Maybe it's just Android to blame

It's early days yet. Need a few cycles for the phone to learn. Today I am on target for around 20 hours, which is plenty.
